Blog Kickoff Post

We've all done it.....hang up the phone with a customer, stare at it in utter disbelief for a few seconds, and wonder if we made the right career choice......... Sanitation Worker seems like such a better option right now, at least if the item is broken, it doesn't start screaming at you like some maniac about its personal problems!!

DISCLAIMER!! Seriously, we all love our customers, we enjoy making them happy, and get high on solving their problems. We wouldn't be in online sales if we weren't. Wouldn't it be great, though, if we also had a shared, supportive, anonymous place that we could use to post funny customer service stories, that allowed us to discuss and laugh about other people's stories?

Trust me......a few good-natured laughs about your workday will go a long way in keeping you sane......you ARE STILL sane, right?????

A Long Night

I once had a customer who was tired of “automated” responses. I explained to her that they are not automated, they are email templates to make responding to e-mails quicker. She replied, and I quote…
“Listen, I did your little links! They are all complete. I have been up pole dancing all night and just put a roast in my crock pot. I’m tired and going to bed. I hope for all my items to be combined…”

A simple, I have paid would have done fine
